1、 It is strictly prohibited to drive with the front wheel connected during hard road transportation operations or when the vehicle is empty. When transporting four-wheel drive tractors on hard roads or driving empty, it is not allowed to use the front drive axle, otherwise it will cause early wear of the front tires. The front drive axle can only be used when the road surface is slippery in rain and snow or when the rear wheels slip on a large slope. When the tractor passes through difficult road sections, the front drive should be immediately disconnected.
2、 When working under heavy loads in the field or on damp and soft soil, a front drive axle should be attached for use. When the four-wheel drive tractor is operating on heavy load or wet soft soil in the field, in order to improve the adhesion, traction and adaptability of the tractor, the front drive axle can be added and Four-wheel drive can be used. When installing and removing the front drive axle, the following steps should be followed:
1. Step on the clutch pedal with your left foot, shift into the transmission, and then slowly release the clutch pedal. When the tractor moves slightly, timely push forward the front drive axle control handle to change the two wheel drive to four wheel drive.

2. When parking or shifting, press the clutch pedal with your left foot, first pull the control handle of the front drive axle to separate it, and then shift to the desired gear for parking or shifting.

3. During transportation, the front tires wear quickly, and uneven wear may occur on the left and right sides of the tire tread. At this point, the left and right tires can be interchanged according to the situation, or the two front tires can be reversed.

3、 The size of the front and rear tires cannot be changed arbitrarily. When using the four-wheel drive function on a four-wheel drive tractor, theoretically, the linear speed of the front and rear wheels should be completely consistent. However, in actual design, due to the fact that gear transmission is not continuously variable, it is impossible to be completely consistent. Therefore, when in use, the rotational speeds of the front and rear wheels will be inconsistent, which means that there will be a phenomenon of front or rear wheels being fast, and the tractor will generate parasitic power. If the parasitic power is too high, it will prevent the tractor from working properly. So in terms of design, it is generally required that if the size of the front and rear tires is changed arbitrarily, the speed difference between the front and rear wheels will be too large, or the tires will wear out too quickly when they are light, or even the gears of the front drive transmission system will be damaged, causing the tractor to not work properly.

4、 The front wheel toe of four-wheel drive tractors is relatively small. Compared with two wheel or Four-wheel drive tractors, Four-wheel drive tractors have relatively small toe in. If the toe-in is not adjusted properly, it will affect the steering performance of the vehicle and also cause abnormal tire wear. Toe adjustment is achieved by adjusting the length of the tie rod. When the tractor is in a straight state on a flat road surface, measure the size between the front and rear tire centerlines passing through the center point, so that the front end B - rear end A=0-5 millimeters. After adjusting the toe in, be sure to tighten the locking nut on the tie rod; In addition to toe-in, in order to prevent premature tire wear, attention should also be paid to ensuring that the inflation pressure of the tire meets the requirements of the usage regulations.
